Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pick up from your accommodation in Arusha and heading to Tarangire National Park. This park with its endless grasslands, huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Animals gather at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. Furthermore, the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen every once in a while, but cheetahs are rarely spotted. After an extensive game drive, you will leave the park in the late afternoon and heading to Karatu for diner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park You will overnight inside in the park.
Day 3: Full Day Into Serengeti National Park
This entire day is committed to wildlife viewing inside the Serengeti. The areas to be visited will depend mostly on where the groups are generally found. Wildebeests and zebras are mostly discovered in the short stormy period of October and November moving from the slopes of the north to the primary fields of the south. Furthermore, during the more extended stormy periods of April, May as well as June, they get back to the North. Our guide will know the specific area to spot the herds and where the best views may be. You will overnight inside in the park.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Dawn is a good time to watch wildlife and so you will be up early to join an early morning game drive. You will return to the camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the park. Here in the Seronera region you will often see wildebeests and zebras in close proximity of lions and other predators such as leopards and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch you will continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Once you have reached the crater rim you will enjoy fantastic views of this 600 m deep collapsed volcano. You will stay inside in the park, situated on the crater rim.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After an early breakfast you will drive down the steep and narrow road that takes you into the crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah. Here the wildlife is just breath-taking and with a little luck you can observe the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the later afternoon drive to Karatu where you will overnight.
Day 6: Lake Manyara Park Game Drives – Arusha/ JRO
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara Park which is famous for its tree lions climbing also known as home of baboons, giraffes, elephants, hippos and much more. Enjoy your packed lunch in the park and later afternoon head out of the park heading toward to Arusha for overnight or transfer to airport for your flight to next destination
