The Ol-Pejeta camps overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offer elephant, giraffe, and myriad plains game. This waterhole will guarantee that you have very close encounters with the animals. The safari then continuous to the Magical Maasai Mara, giving you a chance to escape the long drives and instead fly to the Mara.

Itinerary
Day 1: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You will be met by our company representative on arrival at the airport or your Nairobi Hotel, and after a short briefing you will proceed by road to Ol Pejeta Conservancy situated on the equator, west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya arriving on time for lunch at Sweetwaters tented camp or Ol Pejeta house. Relax after lunch and leave the camp for an evening game drive starting 1530hrs till 1830hrs and come back to the camp for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta Full Day
After breakfast depart for a full day game viewing safari experience in the Conservancy. You will start by visiting Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary followed by having lunch at either the Camp or enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic picnic site. Enjoy the afternoon game drive with the possibility of spotting African Wild Dog, Elephants, Cheetahs, Hartebeest, Grevy Zebra’s, Leopards, Spotted Hyena, Black-backed jackal, Caracal and bat-eared fox. As the sun set’s drive en route to your Camp for a buffet Dinner. Afterwards, dress up warmly and meet your Driver Guide at the reception and depart for a night game drive. Arrive in your Camp for overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
After early breakfast head to Ol Pejeta airstrip to Maasai Mara airstrip. The next two days shall be spent game viewing, either in the early morning hours or in the evening as this is when we have the best chances of seeing animals. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sun downer back at your lodge. The Mara reserve is 1510 sq. km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, Topis, impala, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Camp.
Day 4: Maasai Mara National Reserve
The second day in Mara will spent exploring the extensive grasslands savannas with options of full day, half day or morning and afternoon game drives. Whatever best suits you depending on the wildlife sighting, migration patterns and the prevailing weather conditions. Hot air balloon and traditional Maasai communities’ cultural visits for a glimpse into their rich culture, can also be arranged. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Camp.
Day 5: Nairobi
After breakfast at your safari lodge, you will head back to Nairobi. On arrival to the city under the sun, you will be transferred either to your hotel or to the airport.
NB; Timings indicated are meant to act as guidelines, departure times may change especially for the game drives as it depends on wildlife sightings and climate patterns. Your safari driver guide in case of game drives and your airport representative in case of airport transfer times will advise you as you go along.
