Mount Longonot National Park

Mount Longonot national park is about 68km from Nairobi It is a relatively short journey, Mount Longonot national park for an adventurous climbing experience. Mt. Longonot is 2780m above sea level and hiking to the crater rim takes around 3-5 hours depending on your fitness level. After reaching the crater rim, you shall start moving around the crater. The distance from the gate to the crater rim is about 3.1km. The overall distance from the gate to the crater rim and moving around the crater and descending back to the gate is about 10.3km.
